RECRUITMENT, SELECTION & CONTROL PROCESS FLOW CHART

We pay maximum emphasize when screening the crew for our pool, scrutinize all personal documents and record of previous sea services thoroughly, reference check with previous employers are made for performance records.

SELECTION

Marine Hive limited has a unique online system to source, select and propose seafarers to the clients. The clients can also monitor the process right from the comfort of their own office. Two integrated softwares are used to facilitate this namely Crew Data Management (CDM) & Crew Management System(CMS). All information of the crew including their CV, Documents, date of readiness / relieve etc are uploaded in Crew Data Management (CDM), whereas the clients can submit a request in Crew Management system(CMS). We then get a notification in the system of the request and propose electronically via Crew Management system (CMS), which the client can see instantly with all data of the proposed candidate. The client is provided with a unique username & password. Consequently clients can update the system with interview date, approval, rejection, joining prospects etc in Crew Management system (CMS), thus saving their time & cost. Our Crew Data Management (CDM) contains data of more than 5000 seafarers. Interested parties may contact us for temporary access to the system for their assessment & feedback.

Computer Based Training (CBT)

MHL conducts in-house Computer Based Training (CBT) and tailor made Training courses as per our clientele requirement. Courses are organized under the supervision of Experienced Masters & Chief Engineers. We use Marlin & Seagull materials for these. DOCUMENTATION

All our seafarers MUST be possessed with valid national seaman book (CDC), passport, Certificate of competency and watch rating certificates as appropriate, all short courses and special training cert. as per STCW 95 requirements.
In addition CDC, COC and GOC required by other flag state authority can also be arranged.

MEDICAL FITNESS

Thorough medical examination, including drug and alcohol tests must be carried out prior joining by approved medical practitioner or as required by the Principal/Owner.

COST

Cost factor has always been our prime consideration; we endeavor to find most cost effective solution of our principal’s need. We believe efficient and quality operation reduce cost.
We have not only kept the crew wages competitive, we also kept the cost down by providing Lump Sum monthly budget, where we take the full responsibility of all crew related matters including, crew wages, victual ling, allotment, accounts, relieve plan etc. thus removing work load from our principal’s office.
